Hi! City Rhythm has finally been completed and had reached your hands. This album is very spcial to me for many reasons. For one, the amount of creative talents involved in materializing what was originally an idea or two into what you now see and hear, is phenominal [phenomenal]! These highly creative people are definitely among the bes in town. Too many to name but I thank everyone of them for their tremendous effort. However, I must specially thank Richard, Thomas, Poon, and Ip for their remarkable spirit in writing, revising, and working their lyrics until they fit so perfectly with the songs and with the theme of this album.
Secondly, for the album jacket and this booklet, I have a chance to experience New York in a unique way. During the photo shoots, I felt like a part of this fascinating city, in tune with her every mood and feeling. I hope you can share this with me in the photographs.
Another reason that City Rhythm is special for me is working with my producer. He is a man blessed with many gifts, namely an extraordinarily musical mind and a very gentle and wonderful heart! Thanks, Anthony! I sincerely hope City Rhythm will become special to you, too!
各位朋友，你好！City Rhythm終於完成，而現在已交到你的手上了。或者不用我多說，大家已經知道這張唱片對我來說是非常特別的。
由意念至成果的過程中，多位幕後和創作人員的功勞是不可抹煞的。人數頗多，恕不能盡錄。但我衷心相信由創作到設計，音樂到混音，每一位都是香港頂尖兒的人物！特別要鳴謝的是林振強先生、潘源良先生、周禮茂先生和卡龍先生，謝謝他們為要完美地配合大碟主題，不厭其煩地把歌詞寫了再寫。
在紐約拍攝City Rhythm的封套及內頁照片，實在是一個驚喜。雖然我是第一次到紐約，但對於這個充滿感覺和生命力的城巿，我是完全投入，一點也沒有陌生。希望大家透過照片也能領略到那一份感覺。
